The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) of Long Bay Primary School provides a friendly and open forum where the school community can help make improvements that will benefit the children of the school. In this role the PTA supports the Board of Trustees and liaises with the teachers and the community. A major focus for the PTA is the organising and running of fundraising and social events. Any members of the school community are welcome at PTA meetings.

Each year, a chairperson, treasurer and secretary are elected. Chairperson is Lianne McMahon; treasurer is Sam Corbeau; and secretary is Tracy Symmans.
