| Saturday, 26th February | Weetbix Kids Tryathlon. Our team has been entered for the event on the 26th February at Narrowneck Beach in Devonport. Come along and cheer them on. |
| Wednesday, 29 February | Parent/ Teacher interviews starting at 1.30pm. Please go to the website address: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz and follow the simple prompts. You will need to put in our school code WLKUA before choosing the options to follow. Confirmation of your appointment/s will be sent immediately to your email address. The system can also handle any appointment changes or cancellations you may wish to make and the school will access and administer the overall process to ensure that it runs smoothly. You will not be able to see any details of any other student in the school other than your own child. If an appointment time is unavailable it will simply show that information on the schedule. We will keep the bookings open until 10.00 am Tuesday 28th February. |
| Thursday, 1 March | Waterwise/ swimming for Akoranga Children |
| Friday, 23 March | School Swimming Sports Day. All students aged 8 - 10+ years will race in either swimming or novelty races. Letters will come home shortly to confirm race entries and advise the cost. The swimming sports will be held at the Northern Arena in Silverdale and parents are most welcome to attend. Parent helpers are need to help run the day. Please contact Mrs Douglas if you are able to help. |
| Sunday, 1 April | Shore to Shore 5 km Fun Run/Walk. This is a great community and family event. The more entries we get for the school the more funding the school receives to buy sports equipment. All students who register willl participate in a free mufti day after the event. Entry forms went hom this week. |
